Martha loves helping people manage chronic pain and acute injuries. Besides 4 years of acupuncture training at National University of Natural Medicine, Martha did additional intensive study of integrative orthopedic acupuncture with Dr. Anthony Von der Muhll. This is a comprehensive orthopedic and sports medicine program integrating western diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders with eastern treatment principles.

Martha is passionate about Chinese herbal medicine. She is a diplomate of the Tian-Zeng Lineage and continues to advance her knowledge with trainings from Dr. Arnaud Versluys at Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine. The Tian-Zeng lineage system uses classical herbal prescriptions from the Eastern Han Dynasty (over 2000 years ago); it is time-tested, elegant and precise.
